Create your Discord application

You need a Discord bot token to add a custom bot. Follow these steps in the Discord developer portal:

Go to discord.com/developers and click New Application. Give it any name.

Go to the Bot tab on the left. Click Reset Token and copy the token — keep it secret.

On the same Bot page, enable all three Privileged Gateway Intents: Presence, Server Members, and Message Content.

Save your changes. Your bot is ready — come back here and paste the token.

Why do I need to do this?Discord requires each bot to have its own application and token. This gives you a bot that appears under your own name in Discord, not as "Samsarix".
